Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe
Governor, Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL)
Dr. P Nandalal Weerasinghe is the 17th Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. He served at the Central Bank of Sri Lanka nearly 30 years in different capacities including Chief Economist/Director of Economic Research, Assistant Governor, Deputy Governor and Senior Deputy Governor. He also served as an Alternate Executive Director for India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Bhutan, at the International Monetary Fund.
He holds a PhD and a Master's Degree in Economics from the Australian National University, and a B.Sc. Degree from the University of Kelaniya. Dr Weerasinghe has been rated 'A' grade Central Bank Governor by Global Finance Magazine in 2024 and 2025.

Dr. Chandranath Amarasekara
Senior Deputy Governor - Central Bank of Sri Lanka
Dr. Chandranath Amarasekara is the Senior Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom, a MSc in Economics from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom, and a BA in Economics from the University of Peradeniya. He is also an Attorney-at-Law.

Mr. K G P Sirikumara
Deputy Governor - Central Bank of Sri Lanka
Mr. Sirikumara Kudagama is the Deputy Governor in charge of Financial System Stability at the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. He is the Chairman of the Credit Information Bureau of Sri Lanka (CRIB), a Member of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC) and chairs the Financial System Stability Committee and the National Payments Council.
During his career at the Central Bank, he has held several senior positions, including Assistant Governor and Chief Compliance Officer. He holds Master of Laws degrees from Monash University and the University of Colombo, and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Colombo.

Mr. Ajay Kumar
Executive Director - Reserve Bank of India
Shri Ajay Kumar is Executive Director (ED) of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) since August 2021. He oversees the Department of External Investments and Operations, Internal Debt Management Department, Risk Monitoring Department and Chief Information Security Office.
Before taking over as ED, Shri Kumar was heading the New Delhi Regional Office of the RBI as Regional Director. He is also nominated as a director on the central board of State Bank of India (SBI).

Mr. Bingumal Thewarathanthri
Chief Executive Officer, Standard Chartered Bank Sri Lanka
Bingumal, better known as Bingu, was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank, Sri Lanka on 1 January 2019. Having joined Standard Chartered in July 2004, Bingu counts for more than 30 years of experience within the Banking and Finance industry.
During his tenure at Standard Chartered, he has held several leadership positions in Sri Lanka and Africa. Bingu was elected as Vice Chairperson of The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce for 2026/27. He holds an MBA from the University of Wales, UK and is an FCMA and CGMA.

Mr. Daisuke Takahashi
Senior Advisor for Capital Markets and Financial Affairs, Finance Department, Inter-American Development Bank
Daisuke Takahashi is the Senior Advisor for Capital Markets and Financial Affairs at the Inter-American Development Bank. Since assuming this position in 2025, he has served as an advisor to the Chief Financial Officer of the Bank and worked for the Bank's funding and investment as well as the technical assistance program CAsA.
Prior to the current role, Daisuke was the Director for Foreign Direct Investment Issues at the Ministry of Finance, Japan. He also served as an external short-term expert for an IMF technical assistance mission and was seconded to the World Bank Treasury.

Mr. Domenico Nardelli
Treasurer, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank
Domenico Nardelli leads AIIB’s controller and treasury functions, and the development of new financial products and services, among other projects. He is also concurrently Treasurer of the Bank. Before joining AIIB in September 2019, he was Treasurer of the International Fund for Agricultural Development, a specialized agency of the United Nations based in Rome, Italy. Prior to that, he spent several years in investment banking in London, where he was Managing Director in Global Rates responsible for Public Sector coverage and Euro Medium-Term Note issuance, first at the Bank of America and then at Jefferies, a financial services company.He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science (cum laude) from the University of Pavia, Italy, and a master’s degree from Scuola Superiore della Pubblica Amministrazione in Rome, Italy. Nardelli is from Italy.

Dr. Harpreet Singh Grewal
Deputy General Manager - Reserve Bank of India
Dr. Harpreet is a career central banker with 20 years of experience in diverse fields of banking supervision, payment systems, foreign exchange markets and reserves management. He presently heads the mid-office of reserves management function as a Deputy General Manager at the Reserve Bank of India.

Mr. Herve Thoumiand
Head of Singapore Trading Room - Banque de France
After a master degree in Management and Finance at ESCP Business School and experience in an auditing firm, Mr. Thoumiand joined the Banque de France as a portfolio manager in 2003. He also spent a year at Banca d'Italia as a portfolio manager. He is currently head of the Banque de France dealing room in Singapore.

Ms. Jimin Choi
AI Strategist - JP Morgan Asset Management
Jimin Choi is an AI Strategist within the Investment Platform team at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, based in Hong Kong. Jimin focuses on integrating AI into the business in line with strategic goals and refining the firm's AI strategy to adapt to evolving business needs.

Mr. Jung, Hee Sup
Director General, Reserve Management, Bank of Korea
Mr. Jung has served as Director General of the Reserve Management Group at the Bank of Korea since March 2026, overseeing three Divisions and 12 Teams responsible for managing Korea's official foreign exchange reserves. He also represents the Governor of the Bank of Korea on the Steering Committee of the Korea Investment Corporation. He holds an MBA from KAIST (2009) and a BA in Economics from Seoul National University (1996).

Mr. Luzian Steiner
Senior Portfolio Manager - Swiss National Bank
Mr. Steiner holds a Masters Degree (MSc) in Business and Economics from the University of Basel in Switzerland. During his twelve years at Swiss National Bank he held various roles including Foreign Exchange Trader, Senior Fixed Income Trader and Senior Fixed Income Portfolio Manager. Furthermore, he held responsibility in the selection and ongoing oversight of the SNB’s external fixed income mandates. Mr. Steiner currently manages the SNB’s Korean Won and Chinese Renminbi rates portfolios out of the SNB’s Singapore Office.

Mr. Mohamad Ali Iqbal Abdul Khalid
Assistant Governor - Bank Negara Malaysia
Mr. Mohamad Ali Iqbal bin Abdul Khalid was appointed Assistant Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia in June 2024. He oversees the Market Operations and Development Department, Investment Department, Foreign Exchange Policy Department, and the Treasury Risk Infrastructure Unit, providing strategic direction and leadership to safeguard the stability and resilience of Malaysia’s financial and monetary systems. With over 23 years of service at Bank Negara Malaysia, Mr. Mohamad Ali Iqbal has held senior leadership roles across core central banking functions.He holds an MEng from Durham University, an MSc from Singapore Management University, and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. A CFA charter holder since 2004, he is also a Chartered Banker (CB) with the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB).

Mrs. Nithya Navaratnam
Deputy Head of Banking Department - Bank for International Settlements (BIS)
Nithya Navaratnam was appointed Deputy Head of the BIS Banking Department in July 2024. In addition, she oversees the Middle Office, Banking Systems and Operational Services units of the department.
Ms Navaratnam joined the BIS in 2020 as the Head of Credit Risk Management. Previously she held leadership roles at Goldman Sachs in credit risk management across their New York and Singapore offices.
She is a CFA charterholder, and holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, a Master of Science in Financial Engineering and an MBA in Finance from Columbia University.

Mr. Philip Dongsoo Hong
Senior Financial Officer - The World Bank Treasury
Philip Dongsoo Hong is Senior Financial Officer and Engagement Manager of Reserves Advisory and Management Partnership (RAMP) at World Bank Treasury. He is responsible for the coordination and development of technical assistance for RAMP clients and partners. Prior to joining the World Bank, Philip worked at Bank of Korea (BOK) in various positions for more than twenty-five years - mostly in reserve management, financial stability, and research. He was Deputy Director-General and Head of Investment Strategy Team in Reserve Management Group from 2014-2015, responsible for the tactical asset allocation and active management of the BOK's foreign reserves.
Philip earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Dongguk University in Seoul and MA in Economics from University of Michigan. He also earned his MBA and BA in Business Administration from Korea University in Seoul. Philip is a CFA charter holder.

Mr. Pradeep Swamy
Managing Director – Blackrock
Pradeep Swamy, CFA, Managing Director is a portfolio manager in the Office of the CIO of Global Fixed Income & Global Allocation based out of London. His investment responsibilities include Head of EMEA Macro Investments with oversight for European non-credit portfolio teams, and as member of TriaXial hedge fund. He is also Head of Innovation Technology across the platform with responsibility for driving next-generation AI-enabled portfolio solutions, while also building India as a strategic technology and research hub supporting global investment teams. Pradeep is a member of the Global Fixed Income Executive Committee.

Ms. Sotthy Sum
Director of Reserve Management - National Bank of Cambodia
Ms. SUM is the Director of Reserve Management at the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC). She joined the Bank directly after earning her Bachelor’s in Finance and Accounting from Victoria University of Wellington, starting her career in Banking Supervision. Following a Master’s in Banking and Finance from the University of Luxembourg, she transitioned to Reserve Management. There, she built deep expertise in strategic asset allocation, risk management, external fund oversight, and performance measurement progressing from the Middle Office to the Front Office, where she managed long-term investment portfolios before assuming her current leadership role. Today, she leads NBC’s strategy to optimize and safeguard the nation’s reserves.

Ms. Tamani Dias

Senior banking professional with extensive experience in corporate strategy and risk assessment, currently serving as Head, Local Corporates & Global Subsidiaries at Standard Chartered Bank in Colombo. A key member of the Country Management Team, actively involved in executing bank strategy and championing sustainable finance initiatives. Career goals include further advancing sustainable finance practices within the banking sector. Currently also serves as a Board Member of the American Chamber of Commerce and is a part of the Sri Lanka's Bankers Association - Sustainable Finance Initiative Committee and the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce - Finance & Capital Markets Committee.

Mr. Vivek Ahuja
Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager, Franklin Templeton
Vivek Ahuja is a senior vice president and portfolio manager / research analyst for Templeton Global Macro, based in the Singapore office. He serves as a portfolio manager for the Asian and Emerging Bond Funds. Templeton Global Macro offers global sovereign investment strategies through a variety of investment vehicles ranging from retail mutual funds to institutional mandates. Over the last decade, these strategies have collectively received numerous awards. Vivek Ahuja joined Franklin Templeton Investments in 2006. He specializes in global fixed income and macro economics, and has a regional focus on Asia. He also represents the Templeton Global Macro group with clients and other external parties, communicating the team's investment process, positioning and market outlook.

Mr. Wuthipong Trakulratanawong
Director - Reserve Management Department - Bank of Thailand
Mr. Wuthipong currently serves as a Director in the Reserve Management Department and as a member of the Investment Committee, responsible for the overall strategic and tactical asset allocation of Thailand's foreign exchange reserves. He also holds the positions of Head of the Dealing Room and Head of External Fund Management. Prior to this role, he served as a Director in the Financial Markets Department, where regularly provided key financial market insights to the Monetary Policy Committee and was responsible for implementing monetary policy decisions and foreign exchange operations.

Mr. Parth Dhananjay Patel

Lily Mochamad Sadeli is a Director and Group Head of Liquidity Portfolio, Held-to-Maturity, and International Portfolio Management at Bank Indonesia. He has more than 27 years of experience at Bank Indonesia and has held various positions across the institution, including at the Jakarta Office, the Risk Management Department, and Bank Indonesia’s New York Representative Office, where he served as a Portfolio Manager. He has also contributed to several strategic initiatives, including the development of Bank Indonesia’s Integrated Crisis Management Protocol. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Management from Padjadjaran University.
