Matale, Anuradhapura and Nuwara Eliya Regional Offices of the Central Bank also liaised teachers for this webinar from their respective regions. 146 attended for the webinar. Dr. L R C Pathberiya, Deputy Director of Economic Research Department, Central Bank of Sri Lanka was the presenter as well as a panelist while Dr. P K G Harischandra - Additional Director and Dr. (Ms.) D S T Wanaguru, Additional Director of Economic Research Department, Central Bank of Sri Lanka were the other Panelists.

A pilot Inflation Expectations Survey facilitated by the Regional Office - Matara for the Statistics Department, Central Bank of Sri Lankawas successfully held on July 09, 2020 for a selected group of employees of the Divisional Secretariat of Matara. Galle District Office of Industrial Development Board provided the resources for the programme.

A “Capacity Development Programme on Productivity” organized by the Regional Office Matara, Central Bank of Sri Lanka for the staff of the Busara Chemicals was successfully held on 14th January 2020 at their factory premises in Charly Mount Industrial Estate, Udukawa, Denipitiya. A training programme on 'Online Hotel Booking, Food & Beverage and Bedroom Arrangement'

A training programme on "Online Hotel Booking, Food & Beverage and Bedroom Arrangement"  organised by the Regional Office Matara, Central Bank of Sri Lanka for the micro and small scale hoteliers in the tourism areas of Mirissa and Weligama was successfully held on 25th February 2019 at the Hotel Twenty Two Binaweli.  79 entrepreneurs participated for the programme. The resource persons for the programme were provided by Booking.com Company and Twenty Two Weligambay Hotel. 

A Training Programme on 'Business Digitalization and Digital Marketing'

A training programme on "Business Digitalization and Digital Marketing" organized by the Regional Office Matara, Central Bank of Sri Lanka for the small and medium level entrepreneurs and development officers in the Matara and Hambantota Districts will be held on 28th February 2019 from 08.30 a.m. at the auditorium, District Secretariat, Matara. Resource persons have been arranged by the Department of Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

Completed Event : Training Programme on Project Report Formation

A training programme on “Project Report Formation” organised by the Regional Office Matara, Central Bank of Sri Lanka for development officers attached to divisional secretariats and entrepreneurs in the Hambantota District was successfully held on 12th February 2019 at the auditorium of the District Secretariat, Hambantota. 73 development officers and 43 entrepreneurs participated for the programme. The resource person of the programme was Mr. Rasika Nagoda, Deputy Manager, SME Unit, People's Bank Regional Head Office - Matara.

One to One Discussion on Online Marketing Strategies

A "One to One Discussion on Online Marketing Strategies" organized by the Regional Office Matara, Central Bank of Sri Lanka for the micro and small scale hoteliers in the tourism areas of Mirissa and Weligama will be held on 26th February 2019 from 08.30 a.m. at the Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa. Booking.com company will provide resource persons for the programme.
